Spring I 2019-Parenting Toolkit Seminar Series

Ever wonder why your pre-teen/teen struggles in today's environment of continuous social media, school pressure and basic human development? Perhaps your son/daughter appears to have "it" together, yet doesn't communicate with you, leaving you uncertain of how successfully, or happily, they're developing? Join us in a 3-part series to gain understanding, knowledge and tools to equip you to feel more confident in navigating the landscape of today's teen.

Sessions will be held on February 13th, 20th, and 27th.

This will include three 1.5 hour seminars designed to better equip parents with actual tools to support their youth's development with a "whole child" approach to positive mental development (emotional, physical and academic domains of life).

Fee includes take-away tools and an individualized 15 minute phone consultation with Kathleen (in the following week).

Topics included in Parent Toolkit Seminar Series:
-Deeper look at relationships and family support
-Substance Neurobiology and Addiction Behaviors
-Mental Health: depression, anxiety, eating disorders,, social behavior, risky behavior
-Healthy Lifestyle: coping skills, sleep, exercise, food, online/media consumption
-Communication Style: assertive vs aggressive and passive aggressive
